Story: The Boy with the Boxes ( I only just realised the hunger games link. Omg)
 
The little girl with wavy blonde locks raced the brown haired boy across the field. Small daisies littered the ground. Yellow buttercups were a splash of colour here and there, with some other wild flowers sitting in between them. The flowers seemed to dance to the music of nature. The little girl with blonde hair, Lilly we will call her, smiled with her head on one side. She squished one of her eyes shut as the sun shone into it. The little boy, Mylo, held something small in the crook of his hand. A little shiny silver box with deep red spirals and intricate white flowers painted on it, was tied up with white ribbon. He fumbled with the box, untying the pretty bow that had been carefully tied, and lifting the lid off slowly. Lilly had her hands over her eyes as she had promised, but she was peeking through the little gaps because curiosity had settled in. He lifted the lid and she gasped. Her eyes grew wide, their bright blue shining out. She smiled and took the little box from his fingers. A cabbage butterfly lay in some soft cotton, it's wing and body carefully pinned down. She kissed him on the cheek as she always did, every year, in the same field, after he gave her a gift in a special box. She placed the lid back on the cute box, and walked slowly home. She laid the box down and lifted the lid off. She put the butterfly on display in her mothers cabinet because she led it so much and thought it was beautiful.

She grew fast. Her blonde locks straightened out and reached the end of her waist. Her eyes faded to a dullish blue; her eyes were almost grey now. She had a skinny frame with a worn smile.
She had a long happy childhood, smiling was a part of everyday life. And if she was sad it never asked long, it left when her mother told her a story. She had spent so many days outdoors, feeling the wind in her hair, the sun on her skin and the sea on her toes. The smell and sound of nature were very clear to her. Every year she had seems the little boy with brown hair; since she was 3. They understood so little and yet the knew more than adults did. They only saw each other once a year, once. And those days were always the happiest. This year she was 13. She felt brave. She received a beautiful necklace in a Greene blue box painted with swirls and waves. This year seething felt different. In a good way. She spoke this time.
"It's beautiful." she breathed, a smile coming to her lips.
He just smiled and gave her the lid.
"Why do you never speak?" she asked.
He just cocked his head and looked deep into her eyes. A small smile played upon his lips.
He stood up and walked away. Tears filled her eyes, because she got the feeling something was wrong. She never even knew his name. She lifted the necklace and laced it around her neck. She lifted up the soft cotton that always lined the box and a note was left underneath.
"I love you." it said, in beautiful swirly, curly, twisty writing.
The tears became tears of joy as she raced after him. He gripped her in a loving hug and slipped another note in her hand. This time he turned slowly and walked into a beautiful sunset, butterflies chasing around his back. He turned as he was about to go over the hill, and smiled forlornly.

After 10 years I've realised at last I'm in love with you. But we cannot be. I live in Italy, a country far far away. We come and visit England every year, that's how I met you. But I'm not coming anymore. My mother is dead. She was lost from me in an accident. I have to stay in my country. I hate to hurt you, hate to walk away from something unfinished. But I cannot stop this from happening.
I can't speak because I have a medical issue, a deformity in my vocal cords. So I cannot and will never speak a word to anyone.
Don't forget I love you and I always will.
I hope you find someone to love as good as I could have.

They say it is the happiest day of a woman's life. And the proudest of a man. The day when the church bells spread their joyful tones out across the valley. The day when all you can see is white and red rose petals, showing from above. The day when every single face, young and old, has an old weary smile. A wedding day.
 

On this particular day it was the joining of a love like no other. The strongest of all.

FLASHBACK YAAY:
The little girl with the curly brown locks skipped along the pavement, her hand carefully gripped by that of a loving parent, so that danger could not seize her away. They reached those large gates just as the loud bell rang out across the playground. The little girl searched for the one face she knew best - his face. He waved madly and she grinned. She raced over and gave him a monstrous hug. He smiled a left a kiss on her cheek. They were only 5 years old and no more but they knew they were in love.
"I promise I'll marry you when we are older. I promise my love." said the little boy with the big blue eyes that swirled like the ocean floor.
"And I promise I'll love you forever.." then they walked together to begin their day.
END OF CUTE FLASKBACK.

Andie and Finn were together alone at last. The day if celebrations was finished. Their cheeks were sore from smiling so much. But they didn't care right then. They looked deep into each others eyes. Finn went over to his beautiful bride and placed a kiss filled with nothing but love on her luscious red lips. Then that might passed with much happiness and love.

But all the happiness was not to last.
Not much more than a year later, the hospital was were the happy couple were. A large bump was now in the place of Andie's skinny stomach. They smiled and talked about baby names as they waited. Then all of a sudden Andie's face constricted with pain. She gasped a breath and waved frantically at her dearly beloved. He yelled at the doctor who came running in. They ushered out the scared Finn, who was shouting and telling them to make sure she was okay.
But it wasn't.
Andie gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, with curly brown locks matching hers. With deep brown eyes waiting to find the one she loved.
But Andie wasn't there to greet her young child. Andie died in childbirth with a smile upon her face.
Finn screamed and yelled and cried.

Months later the house was silent. Pinprick silent. A house once filled with love, smiles and a small child footsteps. A house that once was cared for in memory of a beautiful woman dearly loved. But the hope of ever loving like that again was long gone in Finn's heart. He was empty.
He turned to drugs, alcohol and forms of abuse and fighting, to try and heal his broken heart.
Deep down he knew it would never work. And that is how we come to today, the silent home. He lost it. He went mad trying to find it but it was gone. Just...gone.
He cursed the devil that had taken it. Taken both of the things he lost.
He lost his wedding ring. And his sanity.

Now every day Finn looks up to see padded white walls and a tightened straight-jacket gripping his chest. And all he does every day is scream with loss and pain. He thinks of his stunning wife and screams louder. And every day he wishes he had killed himself before he had gone to the Asylum.
 
AW ITS SO SAD. :'(

So here we are! Round 1! Here are the challenges:
 
In the set there is a picture of a bed and some colours! These are for each team.
Each team must complete the following tasks:
 
Put a sleepover outfit in your set: [3 points]
Use your team colours in the set: [5 points]
Put the recipe for a dessert with your chocolate in the description: [7 points]
Use the photo of the bed by your teams colours in the set: [2 points]
Use the "cuddles, please." picture in your set: [3 points]
Use a picture of your chocolate: [5 points]

Chocolate Milkshake [ very simple ]
 
Ingredients:
2 cups of milk
2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup
2 cups of vanilla ice cream
3/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
 
Instructions:
1) add all the ingredients to a blender.
2) blend for roughly 30 seconds.
3) stir and enjoy!
